Educational Objectives:
The education objectives for the 2010 WSAAI program are designed to address relevent and new information for the practicing Allergist and Clinical Immunologist. The meeting will be held in four morning and afternoon sessions consisting of didactic lectures and interactive workshops. Climical topics will include the genetics of asthma and allergic diseases, delivery of inhaled medications, quality of life measures, anaphylaxis, ophthalmologic allergic diseases, evaluation and treatment of the wheezing infant, current therapy for rhinitis, safety and efficacy of beta-2 agonists, and the future of allergen immunotherapy. In addition, workshops will include discussions of the evaluation of cough, biomarkers and bronchoprovocation techniques, and practical approaches to food and drug challenges. Recognized distinguished experts from the United States and Europe will comprise the faculty for our world class 48th WSAAI annual scientific session. The meeting facilities and program are designed to provide maximal audience participation and direct interaction with our speakers, consistent with WSAAI's long history of providing one of the most respected and well attended regional meetings in the United States..
